John CecilRIVIEREon September 21st 2022, long-term resident of Wells, Somerset, formerly of Boxford and Winterbourne, peacefully in Willow Gardens Care Home, Yateley, aged 95. Beloved husband of Sheila (d.2004), proud father of David, Sue and Judy; caring grandpa to Tom, James, Patrick, Christine and Matt; and delighted great-grandpa to Finlay. Widely-respected volunteer in the Cathedral as guide and co-ordinator, library helper, researcher and more. Will be sadly missed by family and very many friends. Cremation to be held at Easthampstead Park Cemetery and Crematorium, South Road, Bracknell, Wokingham, Berks RG40 3DW on Wednesday 19th October 2022 at 2.30p.m. Memorial evensong in Wells Cathedral at 5.15p.m. on Friday 18th November 2022.
